Welcome to Panmure District School

Working together to grow innovative, confident, resilient leaders

Consultation on Proposed Enrolment Scheme

The Ministry of Education is developing an enrolment scheme for Panmure District School, which will be in effect for the beginning of term 1 in 2023.  Having an enrolment scheme in place will ensure the Board of Trustees has a fair and transparent mechanism to manage the roll as it grows. Children that live within this area will have entitlement to enrol at Panmure District School.

Our vision is working together to grow innovative, confident, resilient leaders and we pride ourselves on being a small school that offers more!

Our students feel safe and happy. As a positive behaviour for learning school, our teachers work hard to create a positive environment through developing positive learning relationships with our students. Students feel confident in their identity, language and culture as they are given opportunities to celebrate and share their culture with the wider school community throughout the year.

Our students have more opportunities. Students are supported by our committed staff to reach their full academic potential in all learning areas. All students are given opportunities to take responsibility and lead different aspects of our school life as leadership is an integral part of our school. Our students compete at Tamaki and Eastern Zone sports competitions throughout the year in a variety of sports.

Our students all learn musical instruments throughout the year with our specialist music teacher and have the opportunity to audition for our school band in Years 7 and 8. Our students also have the opportunity to work on school sustainability projects in our school gardens and with our school animals, our pigs and chickens.

Our families feel welcome and supported. We work closely with our families to ensure we are developing academically powerful relationships and giving our families every opportunity to be involved in their child’s learning journey.
